ECFE Little Learners Series

Grand Time Together! 

Grandmas, grandpas, and special grown-ups are invited to join their little ones for a fun-filled Friday morning of playing, learning, creating, and making memories together!

Children ages 0–5 and their grandparents or special adult are welcome to enjoy a variety of hands-on activities designed for all ages. Explore, play, sing, create, move, and connect while enjoying quality time together.

Each class will include opportunities for free play, art and sensory activities, music and movement, stories, and plenty of time for grandparents and grandchildren to have fun together!

Story Sprouts

Come grow a love of stories with us! Story Sprouts is a playful ECFE class for children ages 0–5 and their grown-up.

Each class, we’ll bring a favorite children’s story to life through hands-on activities, art, sensory play, music, movement, and plenty of opportunities to explore and play together. Every class will feature a new book and activities inspired by its characters, setting, or theme.

Join us as we read, play, create, imagine, and grow—one story at a time!

Stay n Play

Looking for a fun and relaxed way to start your Friday? Join us for Stay n Play!

Held on the 2nd Friday of each month, this casual ECFE gathering is designed for children ages 0–5 and their parents or caregivers. Children can explore, play, create, and connect with other children while grown-ups have the opportunity to visit, build relationships, and connect with other families.

Come as you are, stay awhile, and enjoy a morning of play, connection, and community!

Nature Explorers

Get outside and explore with us! Nature Explorers is an outdoor ECFE class for children ages 0–5 and their parent or caregiver.

Each Friday, we’ll head outdoors to explore, play, and learn in a variety of natural spaces around Pine Island. Through hands-on adventures, stories, movement, and open-ended play, children will discover the wonders of the world around them.

Come dressed for the weather and ready to explore, imagine, get a little messy, and make memories in nature!

Tinker Tots

Come tinker, create, explore, and play! Tinker Tots is a hands-on ECFE class for children ages 0–5 and their parent or caregiver.

Each class will feature a fun holiday or seasonal theme brought to life through loose parts play, process art, sensory exploration, and open-ended activities. Children will have the freedom to imagine, experiment, build, create, and discover at their own pace while exploring themes connected to the changing seasons and special celebrations throughout the year.

There’s no right or wrong way to play at Tinker Tots—just plenty of opportunities to get creative and have fun together!

Community Experts

Learn. Connect. Grow. Join us for Community Experts, an ECFE class designed to connect families with helpful information and local resources.

Each session, a different Community Expert will join us to lead an engaging discussion or presentation on topics that are important to families with young children. Topics may include child development, health and wellness, safety, community resources, parenting, education, and more.

• Nutrition - Food Dyes, Picky Eaters, Healthy snacks
• Sensory Seeking 
• Gross Motor - SMART Movements
• Toileting (Potty Training)

While the adults learn and connect with our guest expert, children will enjoy their own supervised time filled with play, socializing, creating, and exploring with other children.
