Youth Boys Basketball

The Panther coaching staff feels it is important to work together with our youth coaches to provide a rewarding and memorable experience for those students that come through the Pine Island Basketball Program. We believe that for the success of our program, coaches at all levels need to be on the same page by working together, believing in the same philosophy and teaching concepts that will be beneficial to our players as they move throughout the various levels of our program.

There will be 1-2 practices a week and 6-7 tournaments or league games for each participant. Players need to have clean shoes, shorts and a team uniform (will be provided).

The fee is $175. The money is used to pay the tournament entry fees and purchase of equipment for the youth basketball program.

Practices will be held on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the season, with practice times scheduled between 7:00–9:00 PM.

Once registration has closed and teams have been finalized, your coach will contact you with your team’s specific practice times and gym location. Tournament dates, times, and additional season information will also be shared by your coach at that time.

If you are interested in volunteering as a coach, please contact Tyler Baker at tbaker@pineisland.k12.mn.us for more information.
